Seersucker stripes are so classic for the Summer time aren’t they loves. There was a time I wouldn’t even know what they were called but I’ve certainly come to love the timeless and elegant look of them for the warmer months of the year. I have been loving stripes this season and if you follow me on Instagram, you know just how much. Seersucker is a thin, puckered, all-cotton fabric that is commonly striped and is used a lot for summer clothing. It’s lightweight and breathable which is one of the reasons I love it so much. These pants are a must have as the ankle length and style are ideal for casual wear but also a nice length to wear to work. Here are two simple and pretty ways to wear these pants.
The first way is to keep it simple and wear the pant with a classic white button down shirt. You could wear any shoes with this pant as the style is versatile enough to do that. I paired this look with Tory Burch wedge shoes and a simple leather bag.
The second look, is to just swap out the shoes for a pair of classic pumps and add a linen jacket. I just LOVE the style and color of this jacket. It also comes in navy blue and it fits true to size. Keeping the layers light (the jacket and shirt) will ensure you can wear this look on a nice Summer day without being to warm.
Overall the fit is good and I like how it fits the legs. If you are looking for a new pair of pants versatile enough for work and weekending, this is a must have.
